To coin a phrase, “it does what it says on the tin”. We will organise with you for a time and date (not surprisingly, normally a Friday) to come and meet with your people and understand how they file and what they file. This will cover the current needs and the anticipated needs in the future. This will be discussed with you and then a de-cluttering exercise will be embarked upon to tidy your space prior to any further work being undertaken. If you are relocating, you don’t want to move stuff you don’t need. If you are tight for space, why not rationalise your storage and filing to free up floor area before thinking about relocating. Sounds simple but few organisations get to grips with this simple aspect of efficient data management.
